Hall of Saints
In preparation for All Saints’ Day, the 3rd grade students hosted the Hall of Saints. We were invited to visit! Each 3rd grader was dressed up as a saint and shared facts about that saint. We heard many interesting facts about the lives of these saints!
Math - Numbers to 5
Today we had a lot of fun with the numbers up to 5.
We sang the song 5 Little Monkeys Swinging in the Tree and took turns being the monkeys and the alligators. The children were so funny!!
We also practiced the numbers with webs and “spiders”. I wrote a number on the dry erase board. The children had to identify the number and put that many “spiders” on their webs.
Ave Maria
The residents and employees of Ave Maria were excited for the children to visit. The children sang a few songs about having a happy heart, autumn and Halloween.
The children enjoyed visiting with the residents and employees after they sang!
Thank you for inviting us! Until next month!

5 Senses Continued
These last few weeks we have been finishing up our religion unit on our 5 senses.
The children tested their sense of smell with sniffing cups. I made up 6 cups with different smells for them to try to identify. They included cinnamon, coffee, garlic powder, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and maple syrup.

The children also tested their sense of taste. I brought in pretzels, limes, spicy chips, and candy for them to taste. Some of their faces were so funny. What do you think?
Thank you God, For our 5 senses!!!
