 The children get really excited when they find different bugs on the playground.  I took a few pictures.  Can you find them?

Jesus Shares God’s Love

In religion class, the children have been learning about Jesus’ crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension.

They were asked to draw a picture of each.  I am really impressed!!

 

Journeys

 Our new reading series has many online components.  On Friday, the children took the end of the week assessment online instead of on paper.  The children are able to work at their own pace and they are able to push the speaker button if they need the words read to them.  

Subtraction

Our new chapter in math is about subtraction.  We are learning about the different subtraction terms such a minus, take way, left, and difference.  The children were using their dry erase boards to practice writing subtraction equations and drawing pictures to match.

Animal Habitats

 The children spent several days working an animal habitat project.  They each chose and animal and had to draw it in its habitat.  The four habitats included desert, forest, ocean, and wetland.  When you look at these drawings can you tell in which habitat the animal lives?

 

The children were given a paragraph about their animals habitat but it had some words missing.  Once they filled in the missing words, they used the Seesaw app to take a picture of their drawing and record themselves reading the paragraph.  I am proud of their finished products!
