Working in groups to solve the riddles about our reading story.

During indoor recess a few of the children built houses.  They asked me to post them on the blog. So, here they are:

Oreo Phases of the Moon

 Today the children used Oreo cookies and toothpicks to try to recreate the phases of the moon. They were able to eat the parts of the Oreo scraped off or not need.   I heard one student say “This is the best school project ever!”

P.E. Game - Cross The River

 The children played a new game in P.E.  It was classed Cross the River.  They were in teams of 4.  They had to work together to cross the river.  Each person had to stay on a rock.  They would move forward, pick up the last rock, pass it forward, and then move forward again.  They really did practice team work!
