PE - Circle Dodgeball
One person starts out in the middle. The rest walk around. If a person in the middle hits you with the ball, then you go to the middle and try to hit others. The game is over when one person is left. I believe they played 2 rounds and Gianna one both times.
Sorry the pictures are out of order.

How Things Move
Today we worked on making a game because we were talking about the different ways things move. Examples are up and down, side to side, back and forth, in a straight line, in a curve, and zigzag. I gave the children a thick paper plate. They glued 3 to 5 strips of colored paper to make a place for a marble to go through.
After all the tunnels were glued on, they added a black dot to be the starting point. Next they made a card for each color tunnel. After they had time to dry they were finally ready to play. They would mix up the cards, lay them out, and try to get the marble through the tunnels in the correct order. This game definitely take practice and a gentle touch. Some were successful and others need a little more practice.
Exploring with Magnets
One of the science lessons in our current chapter has to do with magnets. We have been learning about terms such as attract, repel, and poles. The children are learning that magnets have north and a south pole. The children were exploring with magnets to help them better understand how it feels when a north pole of one magnet is attracted to the south pole of another magnet. They were surprised how strong the repel could be when you try to put 2 of the same pole together. The large red magnets are really strong. You can really feel the push.
