Creation

On Friday, we began our religion unit on creation.  We discussed that on the first day God created light. The children then created a bracelet to represent darkness and light.  First, they had to count out 10 black beads  (darkness) and 10 white beads (light). Then they put them on a pipe cleaner in a pattern to show dark then light.  When they finished I made them into a bracelet.  Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the finished product. :(

Sensory Table and Light Up Box

I have changed what is in the sensory table.  I took the rice out and put in cotton balls “snow” and different kind of treasures to find.

I have seen that some preschool classes have light up tables.  I decided over the break to try to make a light up box.

J is for Jesus

Yesterday, the children colored the J, the star, and baby Jesus in the manger.  Today, they cut the pieces out and glued them together. They are great!

Puzzles

I have discovered that a few of the children really like puzzles.  She completed both of these by herself.   I decided to call her my “Puzzle Queen”!

He completed this one by himself too!
