Addition Equations

 Today, we discussed the terms addend, plus, equals, sum, and addition equation.  Then we practiced with manipulatives and the dry erase boards.

Music Class

 Mr. Cooper took the children outside today for part of their music class.

Ms. Angotti took them outside for P.E. too but I didn’t have my iPad for a picture.

Taking a Brain Break

 The children are taking a brain break and playing the freeze game.

Letters and Sounds Review

 Today we practiced identifying the letters and their sounds.

First, we played alphabet BINGO.  Instead of calling out the letter, I called out the sound.

We had several winners!

Then, I would say a word and they would write the letter for the beginning sound.

We are learning and having fun at the same time!
