The children did some moving today with Dr. Jean’s song “ Verb, Verb Action Word”. If Dr. Jean said and action word they were to act it out. If it was not at action word, they stood still.

The children went on a walk today to look for living and nonliving things. They were completing a Seesaw activity where they would take pictures and put them in the correct column. They were very observant and took some great pictures!
The children have been practicing addition with number lines. They start on zero and make the first big jump to the number of the 1st addend. Then they jump smaller jumps the number of times for the 2nd addend. The sum is where they land.
I am sorry for the late post. The children enjoyed sharing their family traditions or customs. They they helped me put them together to make a a quilt.
Have you ever tried to sink a ship? The children love this game so I am sure they can give you more details. The purple mats are the ships. The children on the ship are only allowed 1 foot off. If they have both feet off, they have to go complete 10 jumping jacks. On each of the ship’s four corners, there is either a cone or bowling pin. The people on the ships are try to knock over all 4 of another ship in order to sink it. If a ship is sunk, the whole crew has to complete 10 jumping jacks. The children on the scooters are in the lifeboats. They are collecting the balls and bring them back to their crew mates.
