Compound Words
Our phonics skill for our reading story is compound words. I gave each student a compound word that was folded between the 2 words. They each read the 2 words and them the compound word they make.

The children wrote thank you notes to their parents for sending them to St. Ann Catholic School. Then I asked them to draw a picture of the favorite activity or class. Can you guess wha they are? I love their art work and ideas!
