 Ms. Lola taught the children how to make pumpkins will pastels in art class.

 The challenge spelling words for this week are sled and step.  They are not listed on the Focus Wall.

Parachute Fun

Ms. Angotti surprised the children with a parachute.  They enjoyed it so much that they asked her to play with it again.  They were hiding from me when I came to get them at the end of class.

New Playground Equipment

 The children were excited to get to play on the new playground equipment.  We happened to be a recess when it was delivered and have watched it being put together. 

A Fun Way to Practice Sight Words

     The children enjoyed playing a sight word game today.  They were put in pairs except for one group of three.  First, they would roll the die.  Then, they would choose a word from the correct column to read aloud.  Lastly,  they would color the block to mark the word that was read.

     When time was up,  they wanted to know if they would get to play it again.  I guess it was a hit!
