We did have an egg hunt but it was a grammar egg hunt. Each child was allowed to find 3 eggs. Each egg had a word inside. I had three baskets. They were labeled noun, adjective, and verb. The children opened their eggs, read the words, and put them in the correct basket. Once they were finished, we went over the words and discussed whether they were in the correct basket. I took pictures of them hunting but forgot to take them in the classroom.
