The Best Part of Me

 I love this assignment!!! I ran across it on a first grade Facebook page and I thought I would try it.  We watch the book The Best Part of Me read aloud online.  Then the children had to decide what part of them they wanted to write about.  They wrote a rough draft and I took pictures.  They wrote the words completely on their own.  Then, I corrected the spelling and grammar mistakes.  Lastly, they wrote the final draft and I attached the pictures.  I hope you love them too!
