Letter C, Number 2 and the Sense of Sight

The children have been learning about the letter C this week.  We sang the c song, identified words that begin with c, and practiced writing the letter c.  Can you find the letter c?  The children could.

The children have been practicing identifying, counting, and writing the number 2.  When they write the number 2,  they say “Make a candy cane and give it a shoe. That’s the way to make a 2.”  They were surprised when I had them practice in shaving cream!

They had fun making Jack-O-Lanterns with Ms. Lola in art class.

We completed our religion chapter “I Can See” with our handmade binoculars.  I would give the children clues and they would use their binoculars to find the objects.  A few things they found were  a water fountain, statues, and a flag.
